This is the third installment of Jason Reynold's Track series. This edition follows Sunny who is the team's distance runner. When Sunny decides he hates running but loves feeling a part of the team, he has some things to figure out. He needs to confess to his dad that he is only running because of his mother and he needs to find his own place in his life and do his own thing, whatever that may be.

I felt this was the weakest book in the series by far. I needed more background for the characters and I wanted more reaction from the team about Sunny's decision. I did appreciate the relationship development between Sunny and his dad. Just because it was the weakest in the series is not to say it isn't an excellent book. I have loved everything Jason Reynolds has written and his activism to get kids to read is impressive to say the least. This book is worth the read and I think middle grade readers will love it.
