Summer Reading is Online!
The Missouri River Regional Library Summer Reading Program is back from May 16-August 8, 2025! Join us at the library for a variety of programs all summer long, plus earn prizes when you read. Printed reading logs will be available at the library, but participants are encouraged to use READsquared online to track their reading. Signup may be found by clicking the button below!
Summer Reading 2025
Preschool Summer Reading Program (ages 4 and under)
Requirements: 10 hours of reading and five missions from a list of fun things to do.
Prizes: A prize bag of summer reading program themed items, free food coupons from local restaurants, and two free books from a collection in the Children's department.
Children's Summer Reading Program (ages 5-12)
Requirements: 20 hours of reading and seven missions from a list of fun things to do.
Prizes: A prize bag of summer reading program themed items, free food coupons from local restaurants, and a free book from a collection in the Children's department.
Teen Summer Reading Program
Requirements: For each ten hours of reading, choose a free book or other item from the prize cart located in the Teen Zone at Missouri River Regional Library. You also earn one raffle prize entry.
Prizes: A book or summer reading themed swag and an entry into our end-of-program raffle for one of five Amazon gift-cards.
Adult Summer Reading Program
Requirements: For every 15 hours of reading you will earn a free book, and one entry into a raffle for prizes to be awarded at the end of the reading program. You can do this three times for a total of three books and three raffle entries.
Prizes: 3 free books and raffle entries!
Raffle: Prizes will consist of gift certificates from local establishments.
