Senior Connections is meeting at the Barefoot Event Center in Linn. Aging Best is bringing its Mobile Senior Center to share with our residents!

We will make a turkey craft in honor of Thanksgiving.

Bring your favorite book to read to a trained therapy dog (TDI-Therapy Dogs International). Raina and River will be in the Children's department on November 12th and 26th, 11:00 am - 12:00 pm. They can't wait to hear your story!

Reading Heroes is a program providing one-on-one reading enrichment sessions for kids who've completed grades K-2.  These sessions are led by a retired reading teacher and are available in half hour increments from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.

Join us for some fun and friendly Bridge gameplay every Thursday! All skill levels and new players welcome. 

Genealogist Laura Loyborg hosts genealogy help sessions each Thursday. There will be a lesson, Q&A time, handouts, and individually-assisted research help. No registration is required for Thursday classes.

Tired of paying for cloud storage? Wanting to know how to get files and photos from your phone to your computer or an external hard drive?

Three 1-hour sessions at 1:00, 2:00, 3:00 p.m. are offered on the first and third Saturdays of each month.

Pat Struempf, a Jefferson City native, has spent hours and hours watching and photographing eagles at a variety of Cole County sites, including Adrian's Island, before the nests fell.

The library's Bookmobile will be parked outside Blair Oaks Elementary School on the second Thursday of each month, from 4-6 p.m.

Learn about the art of Zen gardens and create your own! We'll touch lightly on the history and what defines Zen gardens as well as crafting Altoids tin sized versions.
