Leah is Simon's best friend from Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda and is just as awesome in her own book as she was in Simon's. Leah is a dealing with a lot. It is senior year and it is filled with college applications and visits, graduation and prom. Leah is also dealing with the fact that she is bisexual and hasn't come out to her friends yet despite the fact that her best friend Simon came out. Her awesome mom knows of course, but no one else. So she is going to prom with Garrett, who likes her even though she doesn't "like" him, and is conflicted about her feelings for Abby. Things are going to be interesting at prom this year.

I adored Simon and was thrilled Leah was getting her own book. While I didn't love it as much as I loved Simon I still really enjoyed it. The audiobook was fantastically narrated by Barb from Stranger Things who pulled off Leah's voice perfectly. I loved that Leah is pretty comfortable with who she is: curves, bitchiness and all. She isn't confused by her sexuality or the fact that she is bisexual, she just isn't sure how to tell her friends. And then there is the attraction to Abby. I can't say I was a huge fan of Abby, but I appreciate her journey as well.
