River Readers

I enjoyed this fun graphic novel. I like hockey and love baking. The idea of college boy who is an athlete and likes to cook, reminds me way to much of my youngest son. However, the crush on his captain is handled nicely and it is fun to meet the varied cast of players. I look forward to the next issue.

If you are a fan of cooking competitions, you will enjoy this book even more. I found myself laughing at the rivalry between Carter and Reid while devouring the food challenges they were having. The romance is almost secondary to the competition and it's is easy to choose favorites. Relax and have fun with this one.
