Rejuvenate your mind and body. All shapes, sizes and abilities are welcome. Bring a mat (or towel) to class if you have one, but these are not required. Drop-ins welcome. No charge – library program.

If you've ever struggled with organizing your computer files, this class is for you.

Are you interested in learning more about your ancestors? Then come to our Genealogy class! We will go over useful resources, followed by help with individual questions to help you make the most of your work. Registration required.

For ages 3-5. Stories and songs in the library's park area (High St. side of the building).

If the weather is not cooperating, we will meet in the library's Art Gallery.

Bring your favorite book to read to a trained therapy dog (TDI-Therapy Dogs International). Raina and River will be in the Children's department on August 13th and 27th, 11:00 am - 12:00 pm. They can't wait to hear your story!

Film study group

Join us for some fun and friendly Bridge gameplay every Thursday! All skill levels and new players welcome. 

Genealogist Laura Loyborg hosts genealogy help sessions each Thursday. There will be a lesson, Q&A time, handouts, and individually-assisted research help. No registration is required for Thursday classes.

Tai Chi 2 is a pilot program with MU Extension that is by invitation only for those who have taken Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention.

Three 1-hour sessions at 1:00, 2:00, 3:00 p.m. are offered on the first and third Saturdays of each month.

"Technology for Life" is a series of workshops that seek to build, improve, and reinforce technology knowledge and skills, with the goal of enhancing participants' day-to-day life.

The library's Bookmobile will be parked outside Blair Oaks Elementary School on the second Thursday of each month, from 4-6 p.m.

CMMG Plant Sale meeting to talk about 2026 sale. 

All ages. No reservations needed. An hour of bingo fun for the family. Winning cards earn book prizes for ages 12 and under.

Join Bob Priddy, well-known author and Missouri historian, as he explores the life of Mayor Cecil Thomas, a visionary leader. Sometimes referred to as "the builder," Thomas served six terms as the city's mayor.
