Week Calendar

Drop in and enjoy an open learning and play time featuring a variety of sensory and activity stations. This event is offered on the third Tuesday of every month.

For ages 6-12. Reservations required and limited to 25 participants. An introductory karate demonstration and class led by The Art of Martial Arts Dojo.

Representatives from KidSight will be here to offer quick, free vision screening for children six and under.

Join us in the Woodland Art Gallery of the Osage Branch for stories, songs and a whole lot of fun! Recommended for preschool ages.  Today we will make puppet animals out of paper bags.  No reservations needed. 

Reading Heroes is a program providing one-on-one reading enrichment sessions for kids who've completed grades K-2.  These sessions are led by a retired reading teacher and are available in half hour increments from 1:30 - 5:30 p.m.

St. Louis piano/percussion duo Cherry and Jerry will take the stage with stories behind some of the songs and composers that put blues on the map. They'll perform landmark songs such as "St.

For grades 1-5. Explore the science of sound with activity stations featuring vortex cannons, telephone cups, and other fun creations with odd names!

Stop by the library to enjoy free-building LEGO fun and Lincoln Log fun.  We provide the bricks and logs, you provide the imagination!  Recommended for ages 5 and up.  No reservations needed.

Ages 7-12. Registration required and limited to 12 spots. Create an electronic alarm, power a helicopter blade, or design other simple electronics using kits.

All ages. No reservations needed. Family Event. Blankets and pillows welcome! Light snacks will be provided. NOTE: This is an after-hours event. The library doors will be closed at 6:15 pm.
