An Amazing Celestial Event: The 2017 Total Solar Eclipse

Dr. Angela Speck, professor of astrophysics and director of MU's astronomy program, will discuss why eclipses happen and how sun-earth-moon interactions affect life on our planet. Dr. Speck is internationally known as an authority on stardust and works tirelessly to promote understanding and appreciation of science to audiences outside the university.
