Cannabis is probably one of the most commonly used drugs of misuse.. It has a wide range of adverse effects, including impairing learning and memory. At the same time, the medicinal uses of cannabis have been advocated due to its bio-functional properties. Dr. Manish K. Singh, assistant professor of chemistry, will briefly discuss the chemistry, biology, and potential therapeutic properties of THC and CBD.
