Description

Sharon Kliethermes Gulick and Rita Schaefer will demonstrate how to create fabric/fiber art in the Woodland Art Gallery in conjunction with the Exploring Fiber Art Show.  A reception for these artists will be held with light refreshments provided.

Fabric art is essentially painting a picture using bits of fabric.  A typical piece takes 15-30 hours of planning and patience as you work out the layout of the image and experiment with various colors, prints, and fabrics to create the image.   

Come out and enjoy watching art being created before your very eyes and meet these talented artists at the Osage County Library.
