Description

This talk program provides education to the gardeners and horticultural crop producers about compost and composting processes. Participants will learn about benefits of compost in the soil, source of composting materials, good materials, and materials to avoid during composting. The speaker will talk about the greens and browns materials used during composting. Participants will learn about methods of composting, site selection for compost pile and compost testing in this program. 

This is a free program. Participants need to register to attend the program either online or with the Osage County Library at falters@mrrl.org.
