Tech Time is a new program offered by the library that offers one-on-one technology help to patrons, no sign-up necessary. Just walk in with your device or questions, and we can do what we can to assist!

Ashley Edwards from the Runge Center in Jefferson City will be at the Osage County Library to educate us about snakes and reptiles.  Come prepared to touch and learn!

June 4: Color Our World

Participants will learn about planning and designing the vegetable garden. They will also learn about site selection, land preparation, and establishment of vegetable garden and raised bed.

Join us in the Woodland Art Gallery of the Osage Branch for stories, songs and a whole lot of fun! Recommended for preschool ages.  No reservations needed.  We will make colorful snakes to bring home.

Bring your favorite book to read to a trained therapy dog (TDI-Therapy Dogs International). Raina and River will be in the Children's department on June 11th and 25th, 11:00 am - 12:00 pm. They can't wait to hear your story!

For children 12 and under. No reservations needed. Drop in for an hour of colorful button-making fun. Draw and color your own designs and create buttons to wear. Everything needed will be provided.

Hey, Reading Heroes! Let's have a party to celebrate the end of the year! Kids who have been in the Reading Heroes program for the 2024-2025 school year can join Missy for a party in the Woodland Art Gallery.

"Technology for Life" is a series of workshops that seek to build, improve, and reinforce technology knowledge and skills, with the goal of enhancing participants' day-to-day life.

Adults and teens pre-registered to work with Reading Buddies will attend to be trained.

Reading Buddies at Missouri River Regional Library is a literacy-based program that pairs emerging readers from kindergarten through second grade with teen volunteers. Buddies will meet once a week to read together and do group activities.

Stop by the library to enjoy free-building LEGO and Lincoln Log fun.  We provide the bricks and logs, you provide the imagination!  Recommended for ages 5 and up.  No reservations needed.
