Drop in and enjoy an open learning and play time featuring a variety of sensory and activity stations. This event is offered on the third Tuesday of every month.

For ages 3-5. Stories and songs in the library's park area (High St. side of the building).

If the weather is not cooperating, we'll meet in the library's Art Gallery.

For ages 3-5. No reservations needed. Stories and music for preschoolers.

For ages 6-12. Reservations required and limited to 25 participants. An introductory karate demonstration and class led by The Art of Martial Arts Dojo.

Ashley Edwards from the Runge Center in Jefferson City will be at the Osage County Library to teach us about mammal tracks, skulls, and pelts from Missouri.  After the class, you will be able to make your own mold of the tracks.  For kid

Come out and celebrate our Osage kids at the Children's Art Show reception.  Enjoy fine art and light refreshments as you mingle with these talented artists.  No registration required.

Bring your favorite book to read to a trained therapy dog (TDI-Therapy Dogs International). Raina will be in the Children's department from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. on June 7th and June 21st. She can't wait to hear your story!

Reading Buddies at Missouri River Regional Library is a literacy-based program that pairs emerging readers from kindergarten through second grade with teen volunteers. Buddies will meet once a week to read together and do group activities.

For grades 1-5. Create racing tracks and other marble madness from supplied materials such as pool noodles, foam mats, cardboard and pre-made kits.

All ages. No reservations needed. Family Event. Blankets and pillows welcome! Light snacks will be provided. NOTE: This is an after-hours event. The library doors will be closed at 6:15 pm.
