Reading Buddies at Missouri River Regional Library is a literacy-based program that pairs emerging readers from kindergarten through second grade with teen volunteers. Buddies will meet once a week to read together and do group activities.

Because plants native to Missouri are naturally adapted to diverse growing conditions, there are native plants perfect for both dry and wet areas of your yard or property.

Join us for a paint night! We will be painting a Patriotic American Flag with a silhouette of trees courtesy of Tracie Kiernan's stepbysteppainting.net. All supplies provided. Reservations required.

Buying a new phone in this day and age can be stressful. In this class, we'll talk about what type of phones are available, how to purchase them, and what to expect and look for when entering the market to buy a new phone.

June 4: Color Our World

Bring your favorite book to read to a trained therapy dog (TDI-Therapy Dogs International). Raina and River will be in the Children's department on June 11th and 25th, 11:00 am - 12:00 pm. They can't wait to hear your story!

A family event. No reservations needed. Join us for bubble fun with MRRL at the Ellis-Porter Riverside Park! Make bubbles with several sizes of wands, shaped bubbles in frames, or chase and pop bubbles from handheld machines.

Stop by the library to enjoy free-building LEGO and Lincoln Log fun.  We provide the bricks and logs, you provide the imagination!  Recommended for ages 5 and up.  No reservations needed.

Talk Saves Lives: An Introduction to Suicide Prevention, provides
participants with life-saving knowledge and
confidence critical to preventing suicide.

Rejuvenate your mind and body. All shapes, sizes and abilities are welcome. Bring a mat (or towel) to class if you have one, but these are not required. Drop-ins welcome. No charge – library program.

Participants will learn about planning and designing the vegetable garden. They will also learn about site selection, land preparation, and establishment of vegetable garden and raised bed.

For children 12 and under. No reservations needed. Drop in for an hour of colorful button-making fun. Draw and color your own designs and create buttons to wear. Everything needed will be provided.
