Learn new skills as we discussing and put together STEAM kits. Follow along in completing your own project to take home while leaning about science, technology, engineering, art and math!

This event is for 4th through 7th grade. 

Hackers and con people seem to be everywhere on the internet these days. In this class, we'll discuss ways to remain safe online, from choosing a good password to knowing what to look for in emails, and much more.

This is a training session for Teen Reading Buddies volunteers.

To Jefferson City residents, the Missouri River bridge is a cherished landmark. But at the turn of the 19th century, there was a possibility that the state capital could be moved to Sedalia.

Bring your favorite book to read to a trained therapy dog (TDI-Therapy Dogs International). Raina and River will be in the Children's department on May 14th and 28th, 11:00 am - 12:00 pm. They can't wait to hear your story!

Reading Heroes is a program providing one-on-one reading enrichment sessions for kids who've completed grades K-2.  These sessions are led by a retired reading teacher and are available in half hour increments from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.

Free-building LEGO fun at the library with standard bricks, mini-figures, and specialty pieces. Ages 5-12. No reservations needed.

Reading Buddies at Missouri River Regional Library is a literacy-based program that pairs emerging readers from kindergarten through second grade with teen volunteers. Buddies will meet once a week to read together and do group activities.
