Description
The Capital City Job Center in Jefferson City, in partnership with the Missouri River Regional Library, hosts Job Search Thursdays. It is a a monthly hiring event offering both employers and job seekers the opportunity to connect and do on-the-spot interviews.
Employers scheduled for August include:
- Boys and Girls Club
- City of Jefferson
- Central Bank
- Elara Caring
- H&R Block
- Information Resource Group (IRG)
- Maplewood Inc.
- Villa Marie Senior Living
- Walmart
In addition, these resources will be available:
- WIOA - Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (funding for training)
- Department of Social Services

Capital City Job Center has recently relocated to the Truman Building, Room 350.. Also, ask about other services that are available through the Job Center, such as resume helps.
