Come join us for gentle Yoga in the green space of the library park.  All shapes, sizes, and abilities are welcome.

Please bring your own:

Outside group visit to the library.

Come practice Qigong with us in the green space next to the library.  Qigong is a mind-body cultivation practice consisting of coordinated body-posture, movement, and meditation. This form of Qigong is from the Falun Gong practice.

Join us in the library’s yard for some sensory water play fun.  Come prepared to get wet. For toddler and preschool ages.  Reservations required.

Join us in the library park (High Street side of the building) for stories and songs. A take-and-make craft will be available at the event.

Join us for a new story reading series where we highlight picture book biographies on interesting people. Visit our Facebook page each Thursday to watch the reading of a new featured biography.

Bring your blanket or camp chair and spread out on the library lawn under the big blue tent to enjoy stories, songs and story time fun.  Recommended for preschool ages.  No reservations needed.

Fiction at Noon is an adult book discussion group, where critically acclaimed works of fiction are chosen and discussed every other month.  Claudia Cook(Library Director) and (MRRL Friend) Kathy Morehouse are the discussion leaders.

Those that register for the Creek Clean Up will get a link to this event. After you have completed your Creek Clean Up, join us for a live celebration via Zoom.

A literacy based program that pairs struggling readers from kindergarten through second grade with teen volunteers. They meet once a week to read together and do group activities. 

Rejuvenate your mind and body. All shapes, sizes and abilities are welcome. Bring a mat (or towel) to class if you have one, but these are not required. Masks must be worn into the art gallery but can be taken off once class is set to begin.
