Genealogist Laura Loyborg hosts genealogy help sessions each Thursday. There will be a lesson, Q&A time, handouts, and individually-assisted research help. No registration is required for Thursday classes.

Looking for avid readers and stimulating conversation? You've found us! A new book will be selected each month to discuss. Librarians at the Main Desk are available to help find a copy for each attendee!

Read this month's book choice, then join us in the Woodland Art Gallery for book talk, snacks and good times. This book club is for 3rd through 6th grades.  This month's title is TBA.

Three 1-hour sessions at 1:00, 2:00, 3:00 p.m. are offered on the first and third Saturdays of each month.

Reading Heroes is a program providing one-on-one reading enrichment sessions for kids who are enrolled in grades K-2.  These sessions are led by a retired reading teacher and are available by appointment in half hour increments from 10:30 am

Tech Time is a program offered by the library that offers one-on-one technology help to patrons, no sign-up necessary. Just walk in with your device or questions, and we will do what we can to assist!

Representatives from the Missouri Department of Social Services (DSS) and MU Extension will in the main floor of the library each month to put you in touch with a wide range of resources, including:

Stop by the library to enjoy free-building LEGO and Lincoln Log fun.  We provide the bricks and logs, you provide the imagination!  Recommended for ages 5 and up.  No reservations needed.

Rejuvenate your mind and body. All shapes, sizes and abilities are welcome. Bring a mat (or towel) to class if you have one, but these are not required. Drop-ins welcome. No charge – library program.

Family event. No reservations needed. A tradition continues! Get ready to ring in the new year by creating your own unique party hat and blower.

Come to play, teach, or learn more about chess! All ages and levels welcome!
