Hey, Reading Heroes! Let's have a party to celebrate the end of the year! Kids who have been in the Reading Heroes program for the 2024-2025 school year can join Missy for a party in the Woodland Art Gallery.

Come to play, teach, or learn more about chess! All ages and levels welcome!

Ashley Edwards from the Runge Center in Jefferson City will be at the Osage County Library to educate us about snakes and reptiles.  Come prepared to touch and learn!

For ages 3-5. Stories and songs in the library's park area (High St. side of the building).

Reading Buddies at Missouri River Regional Library is a literacy-based program that pairs emerging readers from kindergarten through second grade with teen volunteers. Buddies will meet once a week to read together and do group activities.

Stories, songs, activities and crafts for families. Each week during the summer will be related to the summer reading program theme. This week: Sing and Dance. Action stories, songs, and movement!

June 4: Color Our World

Bring your favorite book to read to a trained therapy dog (TDI-Therapy Dogs International). Raina and River will be in the Children's department on June 11th and 25th, 11:00 am - 12:00 pm. They can't wait to hear your story!

A family event. No reservations needed. Join us for bubble fun with MRRL at the Ellis-Porter Riverside Park! Make bubbles with several sizes of wands, shaped bubbles in frames, or chase and pop bubbles from handheld machines.

Stop by the library to enjoy free-building LEGO and Lincoln Log fun.  We provide the bricks and logs, you provide the imagination!  Recommended for ages 5 and up.  No reservations needed.

For children 12 and under. No reservations needed. Drop in for an hour of colorful button-making fun. Draw and color your own designs and create buttons to wear. Everything needed will be provided.
