Representatives from the Missouri Department of Social Services (DSS) and MU Extension will in the main floor of the library each month to put you in touch with a wide range of resources, including:

Stop by the library to enjoy free-building LEGO and Lincoln Log fun.  We provide the bricks and logs, you provide the imagination!  Recommended for ages 5 and up.  No reservations needed.

Join us in the Woodland Art Gallery of the Osage Branch for stories, songs and a whole lot of fun! Recommended for preschool ages.  No reservations needed. 

Read this month's book choice, then join us in the Woodland Art Gallery for book talk, snacks and good times. This book club is for 3rd through 6th grades.  This month's title is TBA.

Reading Heroes is a program providing one-on-one reading enrichment sessions for kids who are enrolled in grades K-2.  These sessions are led by a retired reading teacher and are available by appointment in half hour increments from 10:30 am

Reading Buddies at Missouri River Regional Library is a literacy-based program that pairs emerging readers from kindergarten through second grade with teen volunteers. Buddies will meet once a week to read together and do group activities.

The library's Bookmobile will be parked outside Blair Oaks Elementary School on the second Thursday of each month, from 4-6 p.m.
