Bring your favorite book to read to a trained therapy dog (TDI-Therapy Dogs International). 

Grover will be in the Children's department on April 1st and 15th, 5:30-6:30 pm.

Kids in the Kitchen is a fun hands-on program offered by the University of Missouri Extension that teaches kids how to prepare simple recipes and encourages them to be active and to eat healthier meals and snacks.

Time to celebrate our Earth! Join us at the library to play games, create crafts, and learn more about how to conserve energy to take care of our planet.

It's National Library Week! Please join us in the park as MRRL appreciates our patrons in a BIG way with a free hotdog lunch, BIG games, and music by Those Guys in the MRRL Park from 11am-1pm.

Reading Heroes is a program providing one-on-one reading enrichment sessions for kids who are enrolled in grades K-2.  These sessions are led by a retired reading teacher and are available by appointment in half hour increments from 10:30 am

For grades 1-5. No reservations needed. Drop in for an hour of colorful button-making fun. Draw and color your own designs and create two sizes of buttons to wear. Everything needed will be provided.
