Rotary International is a civic organization that has peace and world understanding as one of its focus areas. Local Rotary Clubs serve this focus with the sponsorship of foreign student exchanges. 

Koko Kuzumaki is attending Jefferson City High School from Nagoya, Japan. She will offer a presentation on World War II, blending visual history with real-life perspectives in an attempt to offer a fruitful discussion on peace and war. Attendees are invited to make paper origami cranes, which are a symbol of health and peace. Koko will take the paper cranes made in Jefferson City back to Japan to be a part of a monument in Hiroshima...
