Program Description

Description

Have you ever wondered how a quilt gets made?  Or how there can be so many fun patterns made from triangles and squares to design a quilt top?  Join us at the Osage County Library to learn about the ins and outs of quilting.  You will learn about the basics of design, the tools used for quilting, and enjoy many samples of quilts.  Each person will be able to pick from different shaped fabrics available to design their own quilt block and leave with a completed potholder.  Local quilters will share their infinite knowledge and skills to help you learn the basics of the sewing machine and sew together your pieces.

This event is offered for two times on August 8:  10-11:30 am and 2-3:30 pm.  Be sure to attend one with your family and friends.
