Program Description

Description

The undergraduate poets from the English 376: Intermediate Poetry Workshop and English 476 Advanced Poetry Workshop (taught by Elijah Burrell, poet and associate professor of English) will present a public reading and engage directly with a live audience.

This reading is open to the general public, and we hope friends of the English program at Lincoln University and students from neighboring colleges and universities will attend. Poetry enthusiasts across mid-Missouri are always welcome to join the program in support of student writers.

The Lincoln University Poetry Workshop Live Series showcases the range and energy of contemporary poetic voices with an emphasis on cultural and aesthetic diversity.
