Description

In 1936, intermarriage is illegal in California. Jack McGurn and Lily Kawamura elope to Seattle where they have a daughter. When Pearl Harbor is attacked, Lily, her family, and thousands of other Japanese-Americans are "relocated" to interment camps Jack tries desperately to keep his family together, but the grim specter of war threaten to tear them apart.
