Join the Central Missouri Master Gardeners for a presentation about injuries that can occur while gardening, how to avoid injuring yourself, and what to do if you injure yourself while gardening. Common garden related injuries include sprains, strains, cuts, punctures, and general aches and pains. Most of these are overuse injuries of the back, shoulders, knees, wrists and hands. Gardeners can stay safe by using proper body mechanics and using tools appropriately. Learn how to safely garden for a more enjoyable experience.
