Despite being a universal taboo, cannibalism remains a simultaneously fascinating and revolting topic, penetrating imaginations and popular culture to this day. In this presentation, Dr. Christine Elisabeth Boston, associate professor of anthropology and sociology, will address the linguistic origins, history, cultural beliefs, and biological consequences of cannibalism among humans across time and space.
