Public Domain books available through Overdrive!

Overdrive has just added 15,000 titles - all books that are free of copyright restrictions and many that are considered classics - to the library's ebook collection. These books can be checked out by an unlimited number of people for an unlimited amount of time - and they don't count against your limit of 5 checked out materials that the regular Overdrive collection enforces. You don't even have to sign in to the library to check them out! These are completely free books, made completely available to you through the Overdrive software and your friendly local public library. Enjoy these books and take advantage of this very cool way to stock your Nook, iPad or other ebook reading device with reading material!

In addition to being the Assistant Director at Kansas City Public Library for the past two years, I served as Director of the Coffeyville, KS Public Library, where I created with grant money a new Teen space, started a DVD collection, and increased circulation by 33% in passguide 70-484 18 months.
