A special time for babies and their caregivers ages two and under. Music, movement and socialization.

Tail Waggin' Tutors

Bring your favorite book to read to one of the trained therapy dogs.

All ages. No reservations needed. Located in Children’s Play Area.

Free-building LEGO fun at the library with standard bricks, mini-figures, and specialty pieces.

Ages 5-12. Limited to the first 45 participants on the evening of the event. A sign-in sheet will be available 30-minutes before start time.

Kids Steam Night: Mazes and Catapults

STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) activities for kids. Ages 6-12. Registration required at www.mrrl.org/program-reservations and limited to the first 25 participants. A sign in sheet will be available 30-minutes before event start time.

This month features recyclables marble mazes, craft stick catapults, and paper circuit science.

Book Bingo

All ages. No reservations needed. An hour of bingo fun for the entire family. Winning cards earn book prizes for ages 12 and under.

Pokemon Card Game Day

June 29: Nature’s Choir: Activities and crafts featuring the sounds of nature, from animals to weather. Guess the sound games, snake rattles, rain sticks and more.

Mystery at Camp Runamucka

Bring dad and celebrate the at the library! Build a LEGO vehicle to run down our mini mountain race course, create towers and bridges out of mini-marshmallows and toothpicks, or design a card for dad. LEGOs are for use at the library only.

From the Page to the Screen: The BFG

Join us as we team up with Capital City Cinema for a screening of “The BFG” with a discussion to follow. Read (or reread) the book and then head on down to Capital City Cinema. This screening will be free and open to grades 3-5.
