Gateway Awards

The Gateway Awards were created in 2000, but their first official year was 2003-04.
They are created and administered by the Missouri Association of School Librarians (MASL).
15 books are nominated each year, selected for readers in ninth through twelfth grades.
Student must read 3 of the 15 titles in order to vote.
Students can vote at their school library in March, with proof that they have read 3 titles. (Check with your school librarian for more information.)
The winner is announced at the Missouri Association of School Librarians (MASL) Conference in April.
