Jay Asher is Coming To MRRL

Missouri River Regional Library and the Jefferson City Public Schools will present bestselling teen fiction author Jay Asher at 7 p.m. on Oct. 1, at the MRRL Art Gallery. He will discuss his books, writing and answer questions. He will also be available to sign copies of his books. Earlier in the day, Asher will speak at Jefferson City High School.

We've been putting short interviews with visiting authors up as an ongoing podcast at the library for a little over a year. For our interview with Heather Brewer, though, we decided to make it into a video instead (embedded below). Which format do you prefer?

Capital Kids Read

From 7 to 9pm in the Simonsen Auditorium on Thursday, May 5, Heather Brewer will be talking about her bestselling series of books and taking questions from you! Heather Brewer is the author of The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod series of books. The first book in the series, Eight Grade Bites, won the Missouri Truman Award in 2010. She will talk about her books, sign personal copies for attendees and answer questions.
