Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher, 336 pages, read by Nikki, on 01/24/2012

Clay Jensen is a normal every day teen until he comes home and finds a package addressed to him at his front door. The package contains 7 cassette tapes recorded by Hannah Baker, Clay’s classmate and crush who committed suicide a few weeks prior. The 7 cassette tapes (recorded on both sides but one, making it 13) are recordings Hannah Baker made before committing suicide, explaining the reason why she committed suicide. The 7 cassette tapes are sent out to 13 people who in the end affected her decision to commit suicide. Clay Jensen is the 9th.

I loved this book! This book made me think about how I treat people and how it could affect other people. I highly suggest this book if you enjoy books about life lessons or personal journeys.
