One of Janet Evanovich’s first novels. This month’s special challenge was to read at least one romance novel, so I decided to read Janet Evanovich since I like her Stephanie Plum novels. This book is okay but her writing skills have definitely improved over the years.

Daisy an over-committed single working on her doctorate and working numerous part-time jobs to support herself jumps at the opportunity to start being the traffic reporter for the local radio station though she has no experience. She’s nervous around the station manager, Steve, but then decides he may be more mysterious handsome than mysterious scary.
