Join us in Celebrating National Library Week

National Library week runs April 13-19 and we've got some great activities planned for you!
Sunday 4/13
- 50's Sock Hop
- 2:00pm MRRL Art Gallery
- Bring the whole family for games, music and 50's fun! Dress up in your favorite 50's outfit to compete for some great prizes!

Monday 4/14
Donuts & Coffee in the morning - Join us on the main floor for 9 am - 10 am- Book Discussion - The Gutenberg Elegies the Fate of Reading in an Electronic Age.
- All ages are welcome, no registration required.
- George Dillard will be the discussion leader.
- Copies of the book will be available for check out.
Tuesday 4/15
- Craft Day - Decoupage Flower Pots

- The Voice Within Us - A public literary reading in Celebration of Nation Poetry Month.

Thursday 4/17
Reader's Eye: Modern Literary Cinema - A book/film discussion program focusing on acclaimed literary works that have been made into equally acclaimed films. Read the novel then meet to view the related film and discuss both works.

- Kid's Club Camp Out - enjoy campfire stories, sons, snacks as we "camp out" at the library

- 50's in the Park - Join us for 50's fun including games, contests, free hotdogs, soda and music by a barbershop quartet.
