James and Julie are ready to take their marriage to the next level and buy their first home. The newpaper ad sounded too good to be true and the home itself had more than what they desired. They bought it, fell in love with it, and continued on with their lives.
The home moans, chants, creaks, and fills their ears with unknown sounds. There is an ever-growing mold spot in the basment that seems to be changing its shape each day. One day they find the same design upon Julie's skin as a deep and nasty bruise. They find their minds collapsing and unable to interpret spacial realities.

This horror novel was quite the ride! It feel inspired by House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski. I felt terrible for this couple as they go from fixing their problems to gaining a million more. Once I got to the main horror story I could not put this novel down until I finished it.
