Summer Reading Kickoff
Submitted by Children on Tue, 05/29/2012 - 11:23
Summer Reading is here and we are having a party to celebrate!
Join us at the library on Friday, June 1st for our Summer Reading Kickoff Event. We will have crafts, food, fun information and more. Brian Wendling will be here to entertain us with his extraordinary juggling act. You can sign up for Summer Reading while you are here and win prizes!
Think Summer Reading is just for kids...think again. Summer Reading is for all ages. We start with the Children's Summer Reading ages 2-12, then move on to Teen Summer Reading 12-18, then Adult Summer Reading 18+. You can do Summer Reading at the Library no matter what your age. So read, keep track of your reading and come in to the Library for prizes. It is that easy! And it lasts all summer long June 1 - August 31.
But first come to our party to kickoff Summer Reading, June 1st 6-8 p.m. For more information on the event call Eric Lyon at 634-2464.
And if you are a teenager you can stay for the Teen Lock-in after the event. Teens will have their own time at the library from 8-12 p.m. Contact Courtney Waters, Teen Librarian, for more information firstname.lastname@example.org.
