Artist's Statement:My goal is to share my talents with as many people as possible. My artwork is in a different media than most people are used to. Each individual piece takes numerous hours to complete. Because of all the hours it takes to complete each one, I print all of my new pieces. I plan to print all future pieces as well. By doing this, it allows more people to enjoy art through my eyes. I try to portray my subjects in their natural state and as lifelike as possible. I have pursued art most of my life and I enjoy advancing my talent with each new piece. I enjoy seeing the reactions of people when they see a new picture that I have completed. I try to study wildlife in its natural settings. When I hunt or fish or look through magazines or books, I find myself learning something new as each picture develops. Friends and family are my inspiration when I create my pictures. It is a feeling of success to see them enjoy my artwork. I only wish I could devote more time to create more pictures. In the future, I intend to begin painting all of my artwork, but I will always fall back to my pencil drawings. Joey Crider
