- First Tuesdays from 6:00-8:00 pm in the Story Hour Room: Knitting in the Library Join us for our very first meeting! Ages 12 and up are welcome. Experienced knitters will be on hand for assistance. Crocheters and other fiber artists welcome too! BYON (Bring Your Own Needles).
- Thursday, June 13th from 6:00-8:00 pm in the Art Gallery: "Writing to the Roots" Creative Writing Workshop Join us as we dig deeper into the writer's craft. This workshop will be taught by special guest, Dr. Heather Fester, English Professor at Lincoln University.
- Thursday, June 20th from 3:30-7:30 pm in the Art Gallery: Anime Mini-Convention Our regular anime club turns into a full-fledged party! Get ready for some serious cosplay (a great chance to try out your costume before the big Jefferson City Cosplacon!), kawaii crafts, snacks, prizes and other fun stuff.
- Saturday, June 22nd from 6:00 pm-12:00 am on the 2nd Floor: Teen After-Hours, Lock-In Edition! Our super-popular lock-in returns for another round of late night insanity! Hide & Seek in the dark, pizza, soda, gaming, prizes...You really don't want to miss this one.
- Thursday, June 27th from 3:00-6:00 pm in the Art Gallery: Beneath the Surface Documentary, Dining and Discussion Series Part I This three-part series aims to get to the core of issues that affect every teen. Each documentary will be followed by dining and group discussion. Part I will be featuring the documentary "American Teen" (rated PG-13). Dinner will be graciously provided by Jimmy John's. You must attend the movie to take part in the dining and discussion. Reservations are required.

- Thursday, July 25th from 6:00-7:30 pm outside in the Picnic Area: Tie-Dye and Spray Paint T-Shirts Customize your T-shirts with a mix of classic techniques and modern DIY methods. Please note: we'll provide the dye and the know-how, but we're going to need to have you bring your own shirt (or other dye-able).
