MRRL Foundation The Missouri River Regional Library Foundation is a non-profit corporation committed to providing supplementary support to the Missouri River Regional Library system. The Foundation recognizes the importance of providing literary and educational services and activities to the public through the library. The Foundation works with the library to raise money through private contributions to enhance library services for our community. We know that fine libraries exist with public funds, but private gifts allow them to flourish. This Foundation is classified as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. All contributions made to the foundation are tax deductible.

Volunteers Volunteers are a very important part of the work we do here at the library. Their talents and energy make the library a better place to read, explore, and learn. Volunteers work in all areas of the library - in 2000, volunteers provided 1400 hours of their time. If you are interested in volunteering, contact Elizabeth Beach at (573) 634-6064 ext. 261.

Partners in Education Partners in Education, sponsored by the Jefferson City Area Chamber of Commerce, creates and fosters effective community partnerships that support and enhance student learning and success. The library has participated since 1999. We have provided our partner schools with storytelling programs, theatrical staff members helping with a madrigal dinner, and an award winning Job Shadow Day for 8th grade students. In return, our partners have provided the library with seasonal decorations, staff birthday cards, and treats for National Library Week.
