Getting Ready for Kindergarten

Pat Biggerstaff, a retired Reading Recovery and Reading Specialist, will lead a workshop for parents on getting their children ready to read and start kindergarten on Tuesday, April 5th at 6:30 p.m. in the MRRL Art Gallery.

There are movies, crafts, story times, and games. So come spend some time with us at the library during the holidays.

We have moved things around in the Children's Department!
Submitted by Children on Mon, 11/22/2010 - 14:16Last week was a very busy week upstairs in the library. There was a lot of shifting and moving of books and rooms, but we are all settled into our new spaces now.
The Teen Zone and the Storyhour Room have switched places. This will give the teens much needed space and allow parents the opportunity to watch storytimes from out in the play area.
