Clerk, Part-time, Adult Services

Part-time opportunity to work Tuesday & Wednesday 12 Noon – 5 p.m.; Friday 12 Noon – 6 p.m. & every other weekend, Saturday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.; Sunday, 12:00 Noon – 5 p.m. Duties include: answering main Library phone appropriately & routing phone calls as needed; renewing materials over phone; shelving materials; emptying drop boxes; staffing front desk & assisting patrons with checking materials in & out; operating cash register; & issuing library cards. Will operate computer throughout work shift & will push filled library carts over tiled, carpeted floors through narrow book shelving. Will bend, lift, reach & stoop to retrieve & shelve materials.
